3.2 Group Description

3.2.6 Reset Operation

A total Reset is initiated by a write access to the group reset register. Depending on the state of the quadrature signals, the counters can be cleared, or set to +/- 1. To avoid this count error (+/- 1) after the reset, the Ua1n and the Ua2n inputs should be held to the values indicated in table 3-1 during and just after the write access. It is recommended to check if the counters are cleared after the group reset.
